'Babies should come with a manual' we often hear. They don't need it, they communicate perfectly and they've done it since the beginning of times.
We just need to re-learn to listen again. We will keep listening to ourselves, now as a Mother-Baby diade, with protective dad as a trio.
You'll learn how to deepen in intuitive, grounded, connected motherly, fatherly, partnerly new life. To look after each other with the confidence that you are all developing in love (lots & lots) and robust, thriving family health.

Meet the instructor
Leona Nieta
I am Leona. The first time I saw a baby being born, I was a teenager and I was completely fascinated by that newborn; the wonder of the birth process. I studied nursing because it is the way to become a midwife in Spain and once I finished my degree, I went to work in the UK. After a year as a nurse there, I agreed to study midwife training and in 2002 I got a paper that said I was legally a “Midwife”.
My deconstruction began.
I worked for the system in many areas of midwifery in the UK, Spain, Bangladesh, Nepal... I always was aware of how wrong the systemization of care was. How disruptive and disrespectful it was to the greatest experience any human can have.
Everything led me to finding the essence, to getting back to the roots, to regain the sacredness of our sexuality, with birth at the total highest of our living experience.

I am the mother of 3 girls whose pregnancies I really enjoyed: I learned to reconnect with my body, to listen and understand each other. They were all born in exultant, wonderful, intimate births, ours. I lived two puerperiums full with their lights and their shadows and I learned a lot from the experience of being a mother, from living that process myself. My last postpartum caught me at 44 with the wisdom not only of age but of mothering a third daughter with 10yo sisters. She's the wildest person I know.
In 2015 I published my first book "The womb-emptying society", a novel about pregnancy and childbirth in Spain in which you will acquire relevant information about all your pregnancy and birth options, the tests that are offered and the benefits and risks of each of them. You will not be able to put it down.
I keep on writing, exploring our sexuality in a more sensual level. You're going to love this one too

I felt excited going into your lectures and so inspired when I left, all because of you. Your lessons were inspirational. You made me smile and I, honestly, learnt so much... thank you for your passion, drive, swearing and experience... you have made a huge difference in my learning journey.

You have taught me so much in such a short space of time,I can be the midwife I want to be without the politics! And I will be ever grateful for that. I can honestly say you have made such a huge impact on me..

Your teaching is always so different and thought provoking. You teach true midwifery & I hope that we can follow that in our careers.
